Two panorama drawings of maritime scenes: 1) 'A View of Funchal from the Sea, Madeira' (previously catalogued as 'A Mediterranean Seaport'); 2) 'Samos and the Greek Islands Near It'. Second work currently missing from the collection according to 2004 audit. Two of 79 drawings presented by Archdeacon F H D Smythe through 5 separate gifts through the Art Fund between 1947 and 1950.
