Description:
Collection of 61 prints including works by Durer, Vandyke, Corot and Rembrandt, Ostade, Meryon, Whistler, Rodin, Zorn, Daubigny and Jacque. The most important works are the etchings by Rembrandt of which 'David at Prayer', 'The Artist's Mother at Table', 'Sheet of Sketches of Saskia', 'Jan Six' and the so-called 'Hundred Guilder Print'. These prints are part of a larger bequest which included pictures, prints, Oriental ceramics and silver plate.
