Description:
1) A mountainous subject drawn in the individual 'blot' manner which Cozens described in his 'New Method of assisting the Invention of Drawing original loose positions of Landscape' (about 1785) and nearly related to one of the 'blots' aquatinted in that publication. The second and third drawings are more finished but elaborated from the same principles. A wooded bank with a distant hill is illustrated here.
