Provenance:
Lord Halifax sold the mansion to Leeds Corporation in 1922. The suite was lent to his brother in law, Lord Bingley.

Description:
Suite of furniture (20 chairs, 4 settees and a day bed), richly carved, gilded and upholstered. Originally made for the gallery in Temple Newsam, now restored to it.
