Loving cup

Robin Warwick Gibson was formerly chief curator at the National Portrait Gallery and has bequeathed his collection to many museums through the Art Fund. This cup is engraved from Glyn to Vivian' and was presented by the British portrait artist Glynn Philpot to his partner Vivian. Gibson curated an exhibition of Philpot's art at the National Portrait Gallery.
