Warwickshire Museum – Market Hall

13th-early 14th Century

This charming small gold annular brooch is decorated with six semi-precious stones, which are unusually still in place. It was found in Warwickshire and is the first brooch of this type to be recorded in the county. It enhances the Museum's small, but significant group of items of personal ornament from the Medieval period.
