Sketch for a ceiling decoration in Mannheim Castle: 'An Allegory of Dawn' painted in the Kaisersaal and destroyed in 1945. Allegorical figures in spandrels, sumptuously decorated. Originally attributed to Sebastiano Ricci, but identified by Dr Otto Kurz, in 1951 as the work of Pellegrini.
