A group of 11 dark green glasses in three different shapes decorated with a coronet and the words 'Joy and Health to Cornwallis Wherever he Goes'. Charles Cornwallis lived on the Suffolk/Norfolk border. His most noted victory was defeating Tipu Sultan in 1792 when Governor of India. These glasses are likely to have been commissioned after this event, by or for his family.
