Chiswick House, built in 1725-9, is one of the masterpieces of English Palladian architecture. It was designed by Richard Boyle, 3rd Earl of Burlington, and became a showcase for his artistic collections and his artistic ideals. Among the ArtFunded items on display are several sets of paintings featuring views of the house. The most recent example is Pieter Andreas Rysbrack's oil painting View of Chiswick House from the Southwest Seen Across the Cascade and Canal, ArtFunded in 2007.
